Hi! I'm a freelance photographer and videographer based in Nairobi, Kenya.
I take documentary-style, natural light photographs and
I make short films that capture the true essence of your organization or business.
After earning a science degree at McGill University and a post-grad
in Broadcast Journalism at Sheridan College in Toronto, I worked as
a television producer and reporter for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
for ten years, winning several international awards for the documentaries
I produced. I worked at the weekly current affairs program CBC News: Sunday
and then at the CBC's flagship nightly news program CBC News: The National.
I've also worked as a freelance videojournalist, producing, filming and editing
for the CBC, ABC News, Radio Worldwide Netherlands, other international media organizations and independent documentary films.
I've travelled all over the world for work, filming and producing in Malawi,
Comoros, The Gambia, Ethiopia, Uganda, South Africa, India, Bangladesh,
Sri Lanka, the UK, the US and Canada's Arctic.
My clients in East Africa include The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, USAID, the World Trade Organization, The Aspen Institute,
Shortlist, Burness Communications, African Management Initiative,
Cross Boundary and DOB Equity.
I live in Nairobi, Kenya with my husband Jesse, our 12-year old son Leo,
and our 8-year old daughter Marlowe.
